Neil’s Blog #3

 

Neil, the Shetland Sheepdog, here. I had my first official winter walk this week.  My mother put my boots on! Well, we did have a centimetre (3/8 of an inch) of snow, after all. I had two compliments too! Red boots have a tendency to stand out. Red is my colour.

I also had my teeth cleaned this week. Not a simple procedure. I had to be put out while it was done. I was pretty groggy when I came home. My mother took very good care of me. She has cleaned my teeth every day since! Not cool, but I guess it has to be done. My mother fusses over me. She loves me a lot. Bye!

Neil's Blog #1

Neil, the Shetland Sheepdog, here! My mother is busy so I am taking this opportunity to tell you about my very first soccer game. My mother’s niece was playing so I went along to lend my support. Uh, they won 2–0. I was obviously the good luck mascot. I was very well behaved while I was there. I was a bit nervous, of course, and “shook” accordingly. I don’t like loud noises and the parents were quite rowdy! The soccer field was Astroturf. My mother kept telling me not to pee on it. What was that all about? Like I would! After the game a lady came over to say hello to me. She told me that I was pretty. I may just have to go to more games in the future. It’s great for a guy’s ego.
