Neil's Blog #2
Neil, the Shetland Sheepdog, here again. It finally
happened. I have been living with that wretched cat for 2 ½ years now and she
swipes at me all the time. Just for the record, I don’t and never will
understand cats. Yesterday we got a little too close face to face so she swiped
at me. Usually she swipes at me as I am running away and nothing happens
because I have such thick fur. She scratched my nose (the black leather part)
and it was bleeding! I didn’t cry out (I am so strong), but my mother ran over
to me to see if I was okay and then she saw the blood. Of course she freaked
out and has been spoiling me even more than usual ever since. I don’t think
there will be a noticeable scar. Thank goodness! It would have made me look
like a rogue. A rogue dogue! Woof!
All for now!
Yours truly,
Neil

Our Baby Girl
I
must apologize for the obsession with our cat. She is the first cat that we have
ever owned and we think that everything she does is wonderful and unique. She
is truly amazing! When we first got her my husband went into work and would
rave about how smart she is and that she is “gifted.” LOL He never even said
that about our kids or our dogs! She is very special. Baby Girl! And spoiled!
Montreal and Ottawa
We
went to my homeland (that would be Montreal) and Ottawa last weekend. Just a
mini vacation. We spent two nights in Montreal and one night in Ottawa. We also
went to Old Montreal. We went to Woodland Restaurant. We had the BEST pizza in
the world (in our opinion). We used to go back to Montreal pretty much every
year but we haven’t been back in several years and we were missing our pizza. I
can’t even begin to describe how delicious that first bite was. It brought
tears to my eyes it was so good. We also had a Greek salad to start things off.
