Cat Photo Shoot

Truffles the Cat

She looks like an angel, but she's the devil in disguise. All 6 pounds, 10 ounces of her! She's bratty and she picks on the dog!

Trimming the Tree

Needless to say, she was in the way the whole time. She had to be everywhere! She was worse than the dog this year!

Our Baby Girl

I must apologize for the obsession with our cat. She is the first cat that we have ever owned and we think that everything she does is wonderful and unique. She is truly amazing! When we first got her my husband went into work and would rave about how smart she is and that she is “gifted.” LOL He never even said that about our kids or our dogs! She is very special. Baby Girl! And spoiled!

Silly Cat

Truffles was up to her antics again today. She is sitting in between the sliding door and the screen door. She looks like she is stuck, but she isn't. She can even turn around in there. She stands up on her hind legs and turns around. After all this, she was very tired and had to have a nap. Silly cat!

Busted!

Meow!

This is Dennis. I bought him on Etsy. He is handmade and he lives in my office/studio. I like to be surrounded by beautiful things when I am working.

Neil's Paw

I was walking Neil this morning and we were about halfway around our route when he suddenly started to limp. He was favouring his front left paw. I checked his paw and I didn’t see anything. We continued to walk but he was still limping. I then changed our route to get home faster. (I would carry him if I had to.) I crossed the street and decided to check his paw again. I still didn’t find anything. I removed my woolen gloves. My sense of touch would be better without them. Sure enough, I felt in between his pads and I found a small pine needle. Problem solved!

Poor Baby Girl! She would like to go out and explore the outside world!

Cat in the Box

She couldn't stand it anymore. She has to get into any box (or item) that she finds. One time we had the furnace guy here and he had his briefcase open on the floor in front of him. Truffles walked back and forth about 20 times until she couldn't take it anymore. She got into his briefcase and sat down. Silly cat! If you look closely you can see that she is wearing her new bling. She has a collar with a bell, but she got a new tag with her name and phone number on it for Christmas (from our daughter). Truffles is an indoor cat.

Packing Up Christmas

Yesterday, I packed up the Christmas tree and the decorations. I didn’t enjoy any nice peaceful days leading up to Christmas this year (it seems to come faster every year and I missed nine days when I was away in early December). So, I put on two of my all-time favourite Christmas CDs (on repeat), carefully packed up all the decorations, and sang my brains out to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s The Christmas Attic and Ally McBeal, A Very Ally Christmas featuring Vonda Shepard (boy, can that girl sing) and the show’s cast. The last song on The Christmas Attic CD, “Music Box Blues,” is a seldom-heard song but I love, love, love it. It makes me want to cry. Please listen to it some time. I had the cat sitting on a stack of storage boxes beside the couch and the dog had his head on my leg while I put the “special” ornaments in their respective boxes. It was a long process and I enjoyed every minute of it. The cat was not happy with me packing up her tree and putting all her “toys” away. She sat on ALL the boxes and basically got in the way. At the end, she was sitting on the tree skirt and I had to slide it, and her, out slowly until she finally got up.

She looks so sad here.

New this year from my daughter

For my husband (the Bike Guy)

I bought this one because of his hat and scarf!
