Winter Wonderland

This is what we woke up to today! Yesterday we had hardly any snow. Well, you know what they say up here: if you don't like the weather, wait five minutes (it'll change).

Christmas Moose

I cross-stitched this for my daughter's friend.
I will make it into a Christmas ornament for her.

Santa's Workshop

I don't do plastic canvas needlepoint anymore. I did it for awhile but I like the finer look of cross stitch much better. Back then I made this Santa's workshop. It took many hours to complete (first the stitching and then the assembly of all the tiny pieces). Where did THAT patience come from? I have included pictures of all four sides and a few close-up shots too.

Mini Christmas

I stitched these teeny tiny images with the intention of putting them on an ivy wreath. THAT never happened. Then I thought I might finish them off and put them on a miniature Christmas tree. I am still undecided...
